Macy's NYC 4th of July Fireworks July 4-6, 2025

 The half hour show takes over a year to create: from soundtrack to perfectly timed color explosions that brighten up the sky, everything is tuned up and synchronized to perfection. Four to six barges stationed between 23rd and 42nd Streets on the East River set off over 30,000 shells and special effects. The New York Fire Department is also part of the celebration by shooting red, clear and blue water some 300 feet into the air from fire boats stationed in the river.

In 2009, the 4th of July Fireworks were held once again in the Hudson River to mark the 400th anniversary of the exploration of the river by Henry Hudson. In 2012, the fireworks display returned to the Hudson River for a 26-minute display set off from six barges positioned between 18th and 43rd Streets. This expansion provided for greater visibility of the show for millions more spectators. 

We will leave early, 6:00AM on Friday July 4th.  We will stop for lunch(on your own) and have a couple rest stops as well.  After spending the night in NYC, we will check out of the hotel but leave our bags as you have the day to explore what the Big Apple has to offer.

Pricing is based on occupancy per person.  Pricing includes bus transportation, driver tip, 1 night lodging,  as well as snacks and bottled water.  We need a minimum of 50 passengers on the bus by May 1st to take the trip.  To register, please scroll down and enter your name & email.  Once I get your signup info, I will email the registration agreement.   An invoice for the $ 75 deposit will be sent upon registration and can be paid via Credit Card or ACH from a checking account with a Square Invoice or money can be sent to me via Venmo. This deposit is due within 7 days of registration. Once the initial deposit is received, another invoice will be sent with the remaining balance due. This balance will be due by April 15th, 2025. Reminder emails will go out prior to due date. You can pay earlier if you wish. If the deposit is not paid by the deadline, your spot will not be reserved and become available for another passenger(s).

The tentative itinerary is below.

07/04/2025 Bus will leave Elkview, WV promptly at 6:00 AM. Please be at the lot by 5:30 AM. Pickup location will be Mt Pleasant Baptist Church parking lot. 58 Mount Pleasant Drive, Elkview WV 25071 

07/04/2025 Bus will have additional pickups at Walmart, Clarksburg, WV at approx. 8:30 AM. Please be at the lot by 7:30 AM. Pickup location will be at the Walmart parking lot, Section close to the road & Burger King. 550 Emily Dr, Clarksburg, WV 26301.  Possible driver switch for the bus.

07/04/2025 Lunch Stop – Valley Mall 17301 Valley Mall Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21740 approx. 11:30 AM (1 Hour). Food court and restaurants to choose from. Lunch on your own.

07/04/2025 Bus will stop at Love's Travel Stop, 3700 Mountain Rd, Hamburg, PA 19526 at approx. 2:45 PM for a rest room break (30 minutes)

07/04/2025 Bus should arrive at approximately 5:30 PM in NYC at our hotel.  Hotel will be  Hilton Garden Inn NYC Financial Center/Manhattan Downtown . Check into your room and experience NYC that evening and the fireworks. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to FDR Drive along the East River to view the fireworks.

07/05/2025 Enjoy the day in the Big Apple.  You can check out at any time you wish, as long as it is before the posted check out time of 11:00 AM. The hotel will store your bags until we leave that evening. Enjoy another day in NYC. We will meet back at the hotel at 9:30 to begin loading the bus for departure home at 10:00PM. Bus will depart promptly at 10:00 PM. Sleep on the bus.

07/06/2025 Scheduled Rest/Safety Break Bus will stop at I-81 South Rest Stop - Grantville PA, 325 Shells Church Rd, Grantville, PA 17028 at approx. 1:00 AM. (30 minutes)

07/06/2025 Scheduled Rest/Safety Break Bus will stop at I-68 West Welcome Center Rest Stop at approc. 5:00 AM (30 Minutes)

07/06/2025 Drop off in Clarksburg Walmart at approx. 6:45 AM. 

07/06/2025 Final Drop off in Elkview at approximately 9:00 AM.
